Welcome to the Barnard Elementary Auction page. We hope that you are able to join us for an evening of fun, mingling and fundraising. Below are details to commonly asked questions.
Theme: Boots and Bling. Some parents choose to dress up appropriate to the theme. It’s not a requirement, it’s more of a way to have more fun.
Attendees: This is an adult only function. We might have a special appearance from some of our administration.
When: Saturday April 28, 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: Soledad Club: 5050 Soledad Rd, San Diego, CA 92109. Located across the street from Kate Sessions Park. 50-space parking lot; additional parking on the street. NOTE: This is a new venue!
What to expect:
a) Silent and live auction: To bid on some of the items donated to our school, it is necessary to attend the Auction event. This includes the teacher features, art projects and some of the more exciting donated items.
b) DJ and dancing: Show us your dance moves. Of course there will be Country Music and other fun songs you know.
c) Surprise entertainment: This is the part we can not tell you about. Just know that we will have fun.
d) Food and drinks: A BBQ-themed buffet with a wide array of food will be offered. A no host bar will be available (and encouraged).
6) Tickets: Tickets are available at $45/each, $50 after April 20th.
7) How to bid and buy tickets: Go to our school website: www.BarnardFriendsAndFamily.org/buy-auction-tickets. You will be asked to register. You will receive a bidder # and be able purchase tickets. Once you have a credit card on file, you can start your bidding on April 13.

Bottle of wine: We need bottles of wine for our wine auction. These can be left at the front office.
- Rental: Do you have a vacation rental or timeshare you can donate a week or weekend for our live auction?
- Product, service or gift card: Do you have a business you can donate a gift card, product or service?
Party: Do you have a great idea for a party/activity/demonstration you can host that we can sell tickets to? If YES, contact email@example.com.
Underwrite: We welcome underwriters to help make our night a success. If interested, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteer: We need dozens of volunteers to help with the Annual Auction & Celebration. We need people before to help with asking for donations, picking up donations, categorizing donations, sourcing decor, transporting auction items, set up, tear down, check in at the event and so much more. Any help is appreciated. Just let us know what you are good at and how much time you can commit.
