Onsite and Classroom Volunteers
All onsite, classroom, and field trip volunteering is done at the discretion of the teacher. Volunteers must be approved by the front office prior to the classroom event and/or field trip. Please provide this documentation to the front office to obtain volunteer clearance.
- Learn about San Diego Unified School District volunteer requirements. Most parents/guardians volunteering on campus are Category B volunteers. Complete the district volunteer application. This form, which you can also get from the Front Office, must be submitted by parent volunteers each year.
- TB risk assessment form or proof of negative TB test. Parents may complete this assessment form with a health provider or provide proof of a negative TB test.
Note: volunteers may not bring younger siblings or additional family members into the classroom or on field trips.
