Celebrate the Lunar New Year: Year of the Horse!

Barnard families and friends celebrated the Year of the Horse on Sunday, February 22, 2026! This free event hosted by the PTA included cultural performances from local organizations, games, crafts, face painting and more!

Our annual Lunar New Year Festival is one of the biggest highlights of the year for Barnard families, staff, and friends! As Barnard campus site renovation is still ongoing, we celebrated the Year of the Horse at the Pacific Beach Middle School campus, allowing Barnard families to check out the next school in the Mission Bay cluster pathway. This year’s festival was filled with cultural performances and demonstrations from:
